Recruitment PortalsLearn how to use basics of Slate in the general overview. *Selecting and holding the left mouse button over an image will zoom in. General OverviewRecruitment Portal BasicsThe are currently two main recruitment portals: The recruitment portal is designed to manage students throughout the funnel. There are two main pages:
Main PageThe main page is designed so that inquiries enter and leave this area after an interaction has been recorded using the interaction form. They are typically assigned a follow up date, which will automatically display them in the Follow Up page on the date assigned. To see more information on a student record, select their name and you will be taken to their dashboard. It is important to always submit an interaction for a student. Applications and admitted tabs are stagnant pages, meaing records do not move on from them, and so they are complete views into the active applications. There will be a followup date column on these pages, which will help distinguish the records that have not been contacted. Each page will have information regarding navigation listed at the top.
Updating a Student's Recruitment InformationThe Graduate instance of Slate has adopted a new entity structure, which allows a student to have multiple inquiries simulatenously for diffrent recruitment centers and entry terms. This information may be found on the student dashboard, and updated on their recruitment tab.
Follow UpThe follow up section contains two tables that contain lists of the students who require a follow up. The first table is all active follow ups due that day (including overdue). The second table is a selectable drop down, which will show all future scheduled follow ups. These tables may be filtered by the staff assignment field at the top of the page. Navigation instruction will be on the page itself. |
